2 units of French Cavalry completed

So I've finally finished up some French Cavalry for my War of Spanish Succession project.  I've been a little burnt out on painting troops for this project as I've been working on them non-stop for over a year now.  I guess I needed a bit of a break from them.

Here are some quick shots of the Simiane and Anjou cavarly units.  I hope you like them.

Only 3 more French units to go and then 16 Spanish units of Cavalry to do. :)

Finished 3 units of WSS Dragoons

I finally finished up 3 of the 4 units of Dragoons for my WSS project.  Took a little longer than I had wished but I was a little burnt out and summer activities threw kink into my painting time.
So I present to you the Mahony, Bouville and Courtebonne regiments. The figures are Old Glory 10mm and are based on 30mm squares.

How should I base the cavalry?

Okay, I'm to the point where I have to make a decision on how to base my cavalry for my WSS project.  These are 10mm figures from Old Glory and I'm planning on using 30mm x 30mm bases.

What do you think, 2 or 3 figures per base?

I also painted up some commanders.  The horses were all painted with oil paints and the riders with acrylics.  These will be the major generals for the French and Spanish for my Battle of Almanza project.

The last 4 Spanish infantry battalions are done!!!

This morning I am proud to say I have a turned a page in my Battle of Almanza project. I finished painting the last of my Spanish infantry!!!!  I still have the French and Spanish calvary to paint along with all of the Portuguese, Dutch and British forces. :)

To date (since June of 2017) I have painted 580 figures comprising 37 infantry battalions for this project.  Here are a few shots of all of them.
