WWI Air Battle using Check Your 6 mod.

The first game I played on Thursday was this WWI air battle.  It was a Check Your 6 mod to the original set of rules. I played the British and had two Sopwith Camels.  I didn't shoot anyone down but I also didn't get shot down.  My planes got damaged pretty well and I had fly out of the battle with both planes.  The Germans took the day.

The rules played very well and I bought the scenario book the GM had written.  It also came with all of the airplane charts.

Take Action: WWI battle Russians vs. Austrians. Historicon

This game was a WWI Austrian vs. Russian battle.  The rules were called Take Action a home grown set of rules. The stands are companies and played at the battalion level.  I played the Austrians in the trench line and the small village just behind it.  The rules played quickly and the result was pretty realistic and over in about 3 hours or so.  The other nice thing about this battle the figures were all 10mm. :-)
